The countdown is almost over for what some boxing fans believe to be an underrated fight. Tim Tszyu versus Tony Harrison is a world-class matchup that may surprise many people. The two fighters will be weighed in tomorrow, along with other fighters, including Tszyu's younger brother Nikita Tszyu.
Although this fight may have gone under the radar due to so many great events taking place week after week, real boxing fans know that this is the type of matchup that will bring out the best in both fighters. For Harrison, this will be his third title fight, and if he can get a win over the incredibly durable Tszyu, he may finally get the respect he deserves.
"I'm here to have fun. I'm not that vicious young lion anymore, I'm more of a seasoned vet now," says Harrison, who goes on to mention that Tszyu will not be able to bully him like he did his last few opponents because of his experience. After speaking to reporters, Harrison was seen running, and Tszyu was asked what he made of it. "It's definitely not good for him. He's probably practicing what he'll be doing on Saturday night, running. I won't be running; I'll be chasing," says the son of former light welterweight world champion Kostya Tszyu. "I'm locked in. This has been 28 years in the making, and I feel good.
Usually, I'll feel a bit drained and a little bit heavier days before myself, but this time, I feel on top of the world."
