One Championship Never Misses!

Not enough about this promotion, for us in the west who were not awake ONE Championship held an event this morning 3/10/2023 in Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok. All bouts were Muy Thai and almost all ended with a finish. The event started with Mohammad Sadeghi getting a unanimous decision victory over Elias Ghazali. The fans in Bangkok were raging with excitement for which is one of the exciting sports that is still growing.

Through the event, we'd go on to see 5 more decision wins including a victory for sister to a current ONE Championship title holder Stamp Fairtex, Junior Fairtex. These sisters could definitely give UFC fighters a run for their money. In the Co-main Russia's former kickboxing champion, Alaverdi Ramazanov was outpointed by slick Mavlud Tupiev.

This fight showed doubters that the Muay Thai style is hard to grasp even as an experienced world-class kickboxer. The Main event was pure fireworks! From the jump, Petsukumvit Boi Bangna was relentless in his striking not missing a beat against his opponent, another veteran Petchmuangsri Tded.

With an amazing second-round KO, Petsukumvit Boi Bangna is now in a position to challenge Rodtang. A tall order but deserved as of now. Rodtang has been on one of his biggest tears through the division lately so he is very likely excited to have a new game opponent waiting in the wind.
