Karate Combat 38 Presser Gets Fans Ready as Tensions Rise as Fight Gets Closer

FightingYo.com was at the Presser for Karate Combat 38 at Even Hotel by Miami International Airport on March 30th. Chelmiah and Lopez enter the room both sporting smiles but not so friendly with each other. As the conference started the fighters already knew what they wanted to say to each other. Lopez claimed he still is the real champion despite the belt being removed after their last match due to a "glitch in the system" says Adam Kovacs, who stood between fighters during questions. "All we could offer him was an immediate rematch," he says. Chelmiah expressed his disgust of Lopez stating he'd not act the same if he were "gifted" a belt or "put his own beliefs over the judges." This rematch is being dubbed the greatest rematch in Karate Combat history let's hope we get a great match from these two and they get home safely.

In the Main Event of the evening fighter, Ross "Turbo" Levine rematches Igor De Castaneda or "The Iberian Bull". In their last confrontation, Turbo won via ko stoppage by the referee. Castaneda claims it was not a real knockout as he still had his bearings and claims he was able to continue. Levine tells us Castaneda needs to put the past away because this is a totally different fight now that knees will be introduced.

And for another unexpected treat, two YouTubers took the stage and we'll just let you make your mind up on this one.
