Miami, Fl -- It's fight week for BKFC fighters featuring many Miami Legends this time around at one of the promotion's favorite venues Hard Rock Hollywood!
BARE-KNUCKLE NOSTALGIA
The world fastest growing combat sports promotion has lined up some bare-knuckle legends from back in the day as well as other world-class fighters for this Friday. The bare-knuckle scene has been around for a long time, many years before BKFC came into the picture.
One of Miami's most loved bare-knuckle pioneers is fighting this week and he's going to need all of Miami's support. Back when bare-knuckle was still underground he was making waves alongside legends like Kimbo Slice, Dada 5000, and Jorge Masvidal. We got the chance to talk to Rene "Whiteboy" Rodriguez the other day and he filled us in on his current mindset and how he has big plans for his future. Right now Rene is going for his 3rd fight in the past six months and has built momentum with eyes for gold, one way or another.

Ruffled Feathers
Howard Davis has been through quite the journey in his bare-knuckle career so far. Now the #2 ranked Featherweight for BKFC it seems all the sacrifice was worth it. Coming from a troubled background he strives to shine now after showing the world he's more than just a contender. BKFC (and fight fans) seem to have high hopes for "HD" and evidence of that is how his name has skyrocketed in the fight community. His fight will be right before the co-main event where many viewers will be able to see him shine. Davis is another fighter on the roster with a quick turnaround after fighting in the last Hollywood card in April. The next step in his career seems to be drawing closer, we predict "HD" will be headlining his own card very soon and most likely for a title in the promotion.
"El Gallo" BKFC's upcoming prospect seems to be ready to make waves. The Miami fighter holds the second-fastest KO in the promotion and is quickly becoming a fan favorite.
BKFC picked the perfect fighter to open up the main card since the fighting community has been paying close attention to Bryan Duran.
FLORIDA FOREVER
Two of Florida's outstanding bare-knuckle fighters are set to make appearances in the co-main and main event spots giving Florida and Miami of course another spotlight in the combat sports world. Jake Bostwick is back after having a draw in his last fight in April. Although the decision was a controversial one he looks ahead to get back into the winning column this Friday night. The last time he made his appearance the stadium became a madhouse so it's evident he will rock the house once more!
Finally, in the main event, welterweight champion Luis Palomino returns to defend his title and undefeated record against the savage James "Lights Out" Lilley. Lilley has been on an incredible tear through the division since his debut and has landed himself his dream fight. A title fight against one of the realest fighters to come out of Florida, the Peruvian-born, Palomino. This is truly the highest level of bare-knuckle.
