What a press conference today in Riyadh. All fighters and promoters were super thankful to the host and Saudi Arabia, saying some of the best compliments you would ever hear about anywhere. Bob Arum personally thanked the host on stage showing just how much these guys respect this side of the world.
As for the press conference, we heard more from John Fury than anyone else, as usual. Even he was surprised by the hospitality of the region "Great things, great place, great people" he said as the conference started.
Mike Tyson was present on Francis Ngannou's side as he had been coaching Francis in preparation for this fight. Stating that if he could be part of history "I want to be on that team". He also tells us "No one takes a punch like Tyson Fury, but this is a different type of power".
John Fury couldn't get enough of the spotlight and continually challenged Mike Tyson to a fight, that even the host admitted might happen one day. John looks at Mike "I only fear one man and he is not of this earth .. I'll fight any man, C'mon brother (Mike Tyson) let's give them a fight regardless of who wins on Saturday" to which Mike replies "Let's do it baby".
"AND NEW" Mike chanted many times in support of his fighter.
Ngannou was asked about his decision to bring Mike Tyson into his camp, his answer "When you find a bigger tree, you need to get a bigger hatchet" also claiming he's become a lot better since their first press conference.
Everyone's always curious to know how Tyson trains to fight someone who isn't a boxer but holds so much power. In which he confidently shares " Knock a MTFK out! Training to knock him out of course".
